Expect juicy blackberry jam and kiwi up front, followed by a distinctive bubblegum-like sweetness, soft fudge and creamy milk chocolate as the cup cools. It’s complex without being difficult to drink, with the kind of clarity and sweetness that makes Geisha such a distinctive variety.
Processed using the Yellow Honey method, some of the coffee cherry’s mucilage is left on the seed during drying, helping build extra sweetness and body while retaining clean, vibrant fruit character.
With an SCA score of 88.5, this is a small and limited release that’s best enjoyed black to let the fruit, sweetness and delicate aromatics shine.
