Our first espresso bar calls Morisset home — a growing Lake Macquarie town with a strong local community and plenty of character.

For us, opening here was never about trying to be the fanciest coffee shop in the room. It was about creating a welcoming space where specialty coffee feels approachable, consistent and genuinely enjoyable.

From everyday milk coffees to carefully brewed espresso and rotating single origins, our Morisset espresso bar is where Mosey Coffee Roasters first brought our coffee to life in a bricks-and-mortar setting.

It’s our first home, our local meeting place, and the original Mosey espresso bar.

What’s it like?

Our Morisset espresso bar is a small, welcoming space built around good coffee, genuine service and a relaxed local feel.

It’s not about being oversized or overcomplicated — it’s about creating a place that feels warm, familiar and easy to enjoy. Expect great music, friendly faces behind the bar, quality espresso, fresh brews and a simple space where locals can start the day, catch up, or grab their favourite beans for home.

We’re a more energetic neighbourhood espresso bar than quiet old-school coffeehouse — so swing by, settle in, and enjoy coffee the Mosey way.

Start with breakfast and coffee at Mosey Coffee Roasters. Grab a smooth flat white or single origin filter, settle in for a relaxed morning, or pick up freshly roasted beans before heading out to explore Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast.

From Morisset, the day can go wherever you want it to. Wander the shores of Lake Macquarie, take in the marina at Trinity Point, follow the waterfront through Warners Bay, or head for the bush tracks and lookouts of the Watagans.
